About Us
We’re a charitable trust dedicated to spreading the love of blues dance.
Auckland Blues Dance is run by Black Sand Blues, Charitable Trust.
Black Sand Blues was established in 2018 by a group of dedicated volunteers who wanted to provide more opportunities for blues dance education in Auckland.
Through Auckland Blues Dance, we aim to provide regular classes and social events to inspire Auckland’s community of blues dancers.
Our name is inspired by the beautiful black sand beaches of Auckland’s west coast, because it was while dancing at Whatipu that the idea for Black Sand Blues first formed.
